Here’s one from my trip to Death Valley with the G+ Guys in 2011. By the name I assumed it would be uninhabitable desert, but there was tons of wildlife and vegetation everywhere. That's not a texture in the background, it's a mountain. It kind of looks like crazy clouds.

This was the perfect night for photography at Burning Man. It was Saturday, and everything was in full force. We had burned “the Man” earlier in the night and everyone was in a festive mood. There was no wind, so the D700 was coming out to play for the night.

ZEBRA STONES
These are some incredible rocks jutting out of Shell Beach in California. They have these amazing striped patterns as well as the erosion in them creates some awesome patterns. Of course you'll need to view at a large size to get the full effect. Just click on the "O" for original size.
